IDIOTIC 21st century business

21st century business is IDIOTIC? Yes, it is.

Education from schools and colleges either feed private or public sector. In private sector we usually include businesses of all forms, types, shapes and sizes. Whatever they might be, all of them are IDIOTIC.

Public sector is the target for my next blog.

Because of Internet and other technological breakthroughs, businesses are becoming much more interactive with their customers. That’s my first I – Interactive.

Businesses have changed their style of operation to Democratic to meet or survive challenges in supply and demand.

Internet and advances in technology have contributed to customize the products to the customer needs down to the level of an individual. This Individualistic nature of conducting business has led to the growth of the availabilities of customer options in almost all of 21st century businesses.

Gone are the days when taking orders are restricted to the business hours. Internet has transformed when and how the businesses can initiate and complete their transactions. They can conduct business from anywhere, to anyone, at anytime. Businesses of 21st century have lost their geographical boundaries to do business so that the customers around the world can feel their presence anytime and anywhere. Businesses have become omnipresent.

Businesses have become transparent. The plethora of business analytical tools available to the markets to determine the health of any business in particular has made the businesses of 21st century very Transparent.

To compete the market share with highly educated customers of 21st century, businesses have become very Informative in describing the features, benefits, pros and cons of their goods and services.

Finally, the C in IDIOTIC, stand for what I stand for – Circle of Learning.

Why and how of the C in IDIOTIC is my focus of my next blog. How education and businesses have become intertwined in the Circle of Learning and why COL has become a necessity rather than an option for survival will be the core message from my next blog.
